Mogadishu (Somalia), March 27: The Al Shabaab Islamist fighters have issued a death warning to the Somali police spokesman, vowing to kill him on the first opportunity.
The Al Shabaab fighters dropped leaflets on the streets of South Mogadishu and also wrote on their website that police spokesman Abdullahi Omar Shac Shac has betrayed his religion (Islam) and that he must be killed, Press TV reorts said.
They explained on their website that this will be the last officer Al Shabaab are vowing to kill, but if the betrayal continues "we will continue our killing spree".
More than 63 officers have resigned their jobs after they received death threats, the Press TV reporter added.
