Desert Excursions in Sinai

What strikes most of the people visiting the region is the unforgettable combination of yellow-red-white sand, blue sea and gray-brown-yellow-orange mountains. The point is that getting into these regions by bus or a car is quite impossible, therefore, your trip will consist mainly of getting to the chosen place by a car (usually a jeep, which can easily travel through the desert), then hiring a camel from the local Bedouins that will escort you through the long and narrow paths lying between the mountains, and then finally walking a lot, as you will definitely reach places in the mountains or the desert which can be approached only on foot.

Be prepared to spend most of the day under the sun, so a hat, sunglasses, sun lotion and a lot of water are a must. Needless to say that comfy shoes are also recommended, as you will spend at least 4 hours walking in the mountains or the desert.
