Amid the vast curiosity over pyramids and pharaohs, there is also another attraction in Cairo worthy of visit and this is the 70-year old Railway Museum. The Egyptian Railway Museum was founded in 1933 and chronicles the history and development of the ENR. It is located near the Ramses Station in Cairo. It houses some seven hundred exhibits, including full size trains and scale models, and includes the private trains of Muhammad Ali.
