Getting There:

Air: Maputo International Airport is served by flights from Paris, Lisbon, Johannesburg and Harare. Beira International Airport receives one Linhas Aereas de Mozambique (LAM) flight per week from Johannesb
Rail: There are trains three times a week form Maputo to Johannesburg. You can also travel by train from Nayuchi in Malawi to Nampula.
Road: Luxury buses operate from Durban and Johannesburg to Maputo and Beira

Travel Around:

Air: LAM has domestic flights to all provincial capitals except Inhambane and Xai-Xai.
Rail: There is a daily train service from Maputo to Ressano Garcia and from Nampula to Cuamba.
Driving: International Driving Permit required
Passport and Visa: Required by all. Passport validity: Passport must be valid for 6 months from date of departure. Visas: Required, but not by the following: Nationals of Mozambique.
Recommended Immunisation: diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B,malaria, menigitis polio, TB, tetanus, typhoid. Recommended in some, seek further advice.
Compusory Vacination: Yellow fever certifivate if arriving from infected areas . Exempt infants under 1 year.
