Calm Returns, 30 Bodies Found in Somalia's Dusomareb town in Central Region

At least 30 dead bodies have been found in Dusomareb town where heavy fighting between both rival sides continued on Saturday, just as calm returned to areas where the clashes happened in central Somalia, witnesses said on Sunday.
Reports say that calm has returned to Dusomareb town, just a day after deadly fighting between forces loyal to the Islamist clerics of Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a and Harakat Al-shabab Mujahdieen.
Sources said that the bodies were collected from different neighborhoods in the town saying that most of the bodies were found from the warring sides.
Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe ( Sheik Ali dere), the spokesman of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen said Saturday morning that they took over the control of Dusomareb town after clashes continued the town for several hours.
Yesterday's fighting started as the Islamist fighters of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen poured into the town from the east early on Saturday morning who lastly took over its control from the other side, but Ahlu Sunna clerics said that they had retaken over the control of the town after heavy clashes happened on Saturday afternoon.
Reports also indicate that more people who displaced from the town yesterday had returned to their houses adding that numbers of civilians were killed while more others wounded in the clashes as both rival sides exchanged heavy gunfire during the war.
About 50 people were reportedly killed in the two-times war and most of the dead or wounded people were civilians according the people in the town.
Residents said that most of the civilians who were wounded in fighting were taken to hospitals in Abudwaq and Guriel towns in central Somalia.
There were no comments from the officials of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen about the fighting continued in the town so far and also the claim of Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a for retaking over the town.
Locals said that Ahlu sunna Waljama'a clerics had imposed a night curfew to the town overnight saying that the situation of the town and war zones returned normal on Sunday morning adding that all the movement of the traffic, business and people of the town were in order.
